Commonly confused rules
- IABS timing. The Information About Brokerage Services notice is due at the first substantive communication about specific property - not at contract.
- Three attempts. Fail a portion three times and you need 30 more hours (one portion failed) or 60 hours (both) before retesting.
- 18 hours of CE. Legal Update I (4) + Legal Update II (4) + contracts (3) + electives (7), every two years.
- Retake only what you failed - but inside one year of filing your application.
